It was a bright summer day when I took this picture at Latour Marliac. It is the place. in France. where Monet purchased his water lilies. I've been there a couple of times and always feel inspired by the luminous nature of the water lilies and can only image how Monet must have felt when he painted these magnificent flowers.

The well-known photographer, Henri Cartier-Bresson, wrote, "To take a photograph is to align the head, the eye, and the heart. It's a way of life."
