I took this stunning photograph of the Blue Mosque from a rooftop in Istanbul that very few people are allowed to enter. I love the juxtaposition of the blue of the mosque against the yellows, red, and ochre colours of the buildings in the front.

Thank you for taking a moment to visit my site. I am an artist living in Fort Langley, British Columbia. Creativity plays an important part of my life and I am passionate about both painting and photography. The well-known photographer, Henri Cartier-Bresson, wrote, "To take a photograph is to align the head, the eye, and the heart. It's a way of life." I have always been captivated by colours, textures, and patterns. Sometimes it is the simplest shape, man-made or in nature, or a play of light and shadow that calls out to me. I like to see the world through the lens and am always amazed at what catches my eye, stirs my soul, and inspires me.
