Recently, I was fortunate to be able to take photographs in a field of wild poppies in Portugal. The farmer was not sure at first as he thought I might be trying to collect the seeds. The poppies and other wild flowers were blowing in the breeze so it was a challenge to capture a photo when they paused for a moment.

Thank you for taking a moment to visit my site. I am an artist living in Fort Langley, British Columbia. Creativity plays an important part of my life and I am passionate about both painting and photography. The well-known photographer, Henri Cartier-Bresson, wrote, "To take a photograph is to align the head, the eye, and the heart. It's a way of life." I have always been captivated by colours, textures, and patterns. Sometimes it is the simplest shape, man-made or in nature, or a play of light and shadow that calls out to me. I like to see the world through the lens and am always amazed at what catches my eye, stirs my soul, and inspires me.
