Thank you for taking a moment to visit my site.

The well-known photographer, Henri Cartier-Bresson, wrote, "To take a photograph is to align the head, the eye, and the heart. It's a way of life."

I have always been captivated by colours, textures, and patterns. Sometimes it is the simplest shape, man-made or in nature, or a play of light and shadow that calls out to me.

Capturing images to share with others has been part of my life since I was a young child. My first camera was a Kodak Brownie. I remember loading it with black and white film and taking it to school events and family outings. I would wait with anticipation for the pictures with the ruffled white borders to come back from the printer...little treasures that generate memories and stories to tell again and again.

I like to see the world through the lens and am always amazed at what catches my eye, stirs my soul, and inspires me. I try to create images that portray natureís beauty, manís humanity, or tell a story of life as lived in a moment in time.

The digital darkroom gives me the opportunity to experiment with my images and some of the photographs in this collection have been altered with software to create a unique artistic effect.

Many of my images can be purchased through Fine Art America as prints on paper or canvas, or as greeting cards.

If youíd like to use my pictures in other ways, please contact me.
